Rashford Eyes Man United Training Return
Marcus Rashford has taken to social media to reveal that he could return to full training at the end of the week, following a successful shoulder surgery in August, 2021.
Rashford got injured at the beginning of last season, but played through the pain for the entire campaign until after the Euro 2020 final – when he decided to go under the knife.
It’s been a few weeks of a recovery journey for the England forward, and he hopes that his doctor will allow him back to training after his next consultation on Friday, 1 October.
He said: “Happy Monday. I see the doctor on Friday for a consultation. All being well, I will get the green (light) to join in with contact training again.”
Despite Rashford’s excitement, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, announced that the 23-year-old forward is unlikely to feature in the first team “until after the international break.”
If all goes well, his first game back could be on Saturday, 16 October against Leicester City at King Power Stadium.
